Greenspeed Magnum GT26 Review

When I first set out to find the perfect recumbent trike, I was looking for something that combined comfort, performance, and versatility. The Greenspeed Magnum GT26 checked all those boxes and more.

Comfort: One of the first things I noticed was the ergonomic mesh seat. It’s incredibly comfortable, offering excellent back support and breathability, making long rides a pleasure. The seat height is just right—high enough to provide a commanding view of the road ahead but low enough to keep the center of gravity stable. Plus, the adjustable recline angle allows me to find the perfect position for both comfort and aerodynamics.

Handling: Whether I’m cruising on paved roads or tackling rugged trails, the Greenspeed GT26 handles it all with ease. The frame is constructed from lightweight 7005 aluminum, and the trike’s geometry ensures excellent stability and maneuverability, even at higher speeds or on uneven terrain. The GS Crossover steering system provides precise handling, while the Sturmey Archer 90mm drum brakes offer reliable stopping power.

Gearing Options: The standard setup includes a Shimano Sora 50/39/30 crankset with an 8-speed 11-34 cassette, providing a wide gear range suitable for various terrains.

Folding Frame: The GT26 features a center-folding frame, making it easy to store and transport.
